Petitions to stop Jersey Village, Texas, from issuing $44 million of Certificate of Obligation instead of allowing the voters to approve or reject.
If you or any of your friends (who are registered voters in Jersey Village) missed signing the petitions this weekend, there are still opportunities to sign them.
When:
- Saturday, June 21st, at our home at 8325 Achgill St., from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Citizens need a voice in the City incurring $44M in new debt that will increase our property taxes. Texas law provides the petition process as a way for voters to force our government to hold an election for the expenditures.
